A small village about a six-minute drive from the town of Lunenburg. The small community of Blue Rocks is billed as "Lunenburg's answer to Peggy's Cove". It's still a working fishing village, with blue slate rocks at the ocean's edge.
Go early in the morning or evening for the best light. There's something about the light of Blue Rocks... When you're there, it's easy to see why, and no wonder Blue Rocks is renowned as one of the best locations for photographers and painters.
